“So we have a new contestant on the show today”. “He is a Game freak i believe and only is 11 years of age”. “Everybody welcome Liam”!

“ So hey Liam what are your thought on about the Christ-church Earthquake that happened 2011?”.

“Well you see i really hate sad news about countries and people to be honest i feel sad for them and i really you feel for them”.

“Wonderful so what about if an Earthquake hit your city what would it mean to you?”.

“ It’ll mean so bad like i will so, so sad and unhappy and i probably will honestly forget about my Computer games and just worry if parents and my family”.

“How would you react in an earthquake”.

“ I will react as if i'm dead, it’s literally so much pressure. I mean there was an earthquake and you don’t know if family at home or work are okay you’re trapped under something and screaming help it’ll feel really heart breaking for me”.

“Okay thank you for joining me today on my show Liam you have a great day!”.

Terry's Interview

Welcome back!

Today we have an new guest on the show I welcome him to you all.

“There's an interview today with  this boy whose name is Terry, he is like addicted to Computer Games . He’s about 12- 14 years age i guess. So lets welcome  Terry everybody!”.

“So hey Terry, What are your feelings about the Nepal Earthquake”. “ Well i feel really you know emotional and sad kind of feeling and i hope they get the mess all clear and they will be safe and happy soon”.

“Okay... and what about if an Earthquake hit your city. What would be your reaction”? I will feel really sad and i think wouldn't be able to talk that much and wouldn't even worry about Computer Games and just wondering if my mother is fine and safe and it’ll just be and unhappy, unsafe feeling.

“Amazing and What would you do to help out Nepal”.

“Well I'd probably just do some sort of fundraiser and donate some money to help with building their new buildings and yeah”.

Mr Wiseman's Baby

In Auckland, Glen Innes New Zealand at Pt England school, senior teacher Mr Wiseman has recently been off from school ever since last week. Due to the birth of his new born baby girl Aylah.

How Far Technology has gone !

On the 30th of April Room 6 Literacy Teacher (Mr Goodwin) had showed something really interesting to share with his class. Their teacher had controlled a game of tetris with some fruit. Using technology wires and controls I believe helped this to work out.

This terms theme is Tinkering tools and toys. Which include technology. Each team kind of have their own theme. So the year 6's and 5's theme is all about video games. Here is something about a Playstation Console.

Immersion Assembly 2015 Term 2 - Tinkering Tools and Toys

WALT: Use different sentences to improve writing

Do your teachers ever serve you some delicious snacks during Assembly?  Well of course something like that happened this morning and everyone was just sitting up for a yummy little pikolit pancake and other nice snacks. So serious and anxious just for a yummy snack.

While serving food team 1 ( which are the year 1’s ) their teachers presented a item. It was like about healthy eating, healthy bodies and healthy lunch. So then team also served some delicious sandwiches and some carrot sticks. After team 1 it was team 2’s item their one was like they dressed up as characters of Winnie the Pooh. Uh i think  the meaning to their item was probably to help each other.Team 3 dressed up like minions. Ms King presented a movie which told us that the years 4’s and 3’s are learning to make toys with the tools that they find around their classroom and at home. Team 4 (which are the year 5’s and 6’s ) the teachers presented a game. So it kind of was like a Mario Game but instead it was Mr Sommerville. His first enemy was Mr Backs. Mr Sommerville killed him. Next enemy was Miss Lavakula, He killed her, And his last enemy was Mrs Jacobsen she had a fish in her hand and and whacked Mr Somerville's sword and whacked him down ( it is all acting ).

So after all those wonderful presented items another one was heading our way. Mr Barks had this hovercraft. On it was a picture of a minion. So the first thing Mr Barks did was he demonstrated what he was going to do. So their was this whole in the front and at the back was some sort of whole i guess that pushes the air because he also had a leaf-blower. So he put the leaf blower through the front whole and asked Mr Sommerville to come over and do something. So Mr Sommerville sat on the hovercraft and it looked like he was a little in the air floating in the air and i’d tell you it looked like a lot fun.

So i guess it came to the end of our Immersion Assembly and each class headed back to their classrooms.
