The Lost Alisha - Narrative Writing

WALT: Identify the features and structures of a narrative writing.

Clumsy little Alisha happily spends time with her family at the Theme Park, In Melbourne Australia. Alisha is the youngest of three. She has two older brothers. Alisha is seven years of age, has blonde hair and also has a loud cry which makes her easy to find especially because she loves wandering off at every opportunity she gets.

Mum and dad met up with some friends and talked while Alisha ran after a cute little puppy.  The puppy scurried away  quickly which made it hard for Alisha to catch because she’s so clumsy. Alisha eventually threw in the towel and gave up.

Alisha started to cry so loud, so loud her parents heard her from afar. There was a Stairs that lead to a Cafe. It was high enough to see everyone in the crowd. Mum and dad made their way up the stairs, that way is was easier to find Alisha.
Mum eye caught Alisha’s blonde hair and straight away ran to her while dad followed. Alisha was found at once and finally learnt her lesson hold on to mummy’s hand no matter what.

Description of learning: This week we have been focusing on writing a narrative. I wrote a narrative about a young girl named Alisha. She got lost at the Theme Park. She started crying and then Mum and dad found her. Enjoy!

Reflection

WALT: write a reflection of what i gained in 2015 and what i am looking forward to in 2016.

Last year I think I gained a few things as a year six. I gained more confidence towards talking to people in my classroom that I don't usually talk to. Another thing I think I gained last year is a bit of confidence towards my fear of heights. One thing I look forward to this year is learning maths. Also making new friends because most of my friends last year we are not in the same classrooms.
