Description of Learning ... In this text I learnt a lot of how the life of children and adults are in Bangladesh. It's very sad that some children don't get to go to school like I do. Some children start working when they are four till seventeen, and these children work dangerous jobs. Some work to make, cigarettes, matches and clothes which I think is pretty dangerous.

The Lost Alisha - Narrative Writing
WALT: Identify the features and structures of a narrative writing.
Clumsy little Alisha happily spends time with her family at the Theme Park, In Melbourne Australia. Alisha is the youngest of three. She has two older brothers. Alisha is seven years of age, has blonde hair and also has a loud cry which makes her easy to find especially because she loves wandering off at every opportunity she gets.
Mum and dad met up with some friends and talked while Alisha ran after a cute little puppy. The puppy scurried away quickly which made it hard for Alisha to catch because she’s so clumsy. Alisha eventually threw in the towel and gave up.
Alisha started to cry so loud, so loud her parents heard her from afar. There was a Stairs that lead to a Cafe. It was high enough to see everyone in the crowd. Mum and dad made their way up the stairs, that way is was easier to find Alisha.
Mum eye caught Alisha’s blonde hair and straight away ran to her while dad followed. Alisha was found at once and finally learnt her lesson hold on to mummy’s hand no matter what.Description of learning: This week we have been focusing on writing a narrative. I wrote a narrative about a young girl named Alisha. She got lost at the Theme Park. She started crying and then Mum and dad found her. Enjoy!

WALT: use our six hats to explain our articles.
Description of learning: This week Room 2 home class have been researching articles from the Kiwi kids news site. We we're to choose a article from this site and answer the questions our teacher provided for us on this presentation. I chose to answer questions about the 'Zika Virus Spreading'. I learnt a few things while reading this article, like women in the Olympics could not go to Rio according to this virus. Here is a link to the article if you want to read it yourself.
